I know I said that I'd try to have this Tom & Jerry thing of mine done by the end of January. Well, it's nearly the end and I'm not even half done. It's taking much longer than I thought it would. Oh well, I'll set a new deadline for myself, that being mid-February.
In the meantime though, everyone feel free to enjoy some of Tom & Jerry's original "adventures".

Coming Attractions
To keep this blog from going stale, I'll post a coming attractions picture to show everyone what I plan to post one here in the near future. For those who don't know, THIS is the reason I've been trying to get Tom & Jerry to look right.
I have another project that I've really got to get going on and I won't start it until this one is done. I hope to finish it by the end of January. That should give me plenty of time to finish my other project by its due date March 1. Until then, I'll have to tide everyone over with the graphic below.

More Tom & Jerry
I have been practicing drawing Tom & Jerry in the passed few days. I found a pretty decent model sheet online so I've been studying that.
You've noticed that I put numbers on each of the drawings. This way everyone out there in Bloggerland can give a critique and play a little game as well. Y'see, some of these mug shots are from the model sheet and some are from my own memory of what facial expressions I've seen them do. Can you spot which is which?

Wedding Gift
A good friend of mine from animation school is getting married. Her name is Tamara Klughart. Scan my links on the side for her name. Then click on it to see all the wonderful artwork on her website. (And leave her a comment, you bums).
She told all of us that her sweetie Rory proposed to her on Christmas Day. As you can guess, she's quite elated about it right now. So, this picture is my gift to the happy couple. I hope this starts their marriage off with a bang.
